Our Mission Statement
Dorking Healthcare Limited Liability Partnership is an organisation formed in 2005 by local GPs to provide high quality, local and timely outpatient appointments for patients of the Dorking practices.
Our aims are to:
- increase the range of services provided at Dorking Hospital,
- make sure that Dorking patients are seen at Dorking Hospital rather than at East Surrey or Epsom Hospitals,
- reduce waiting times for appointments,
- ensure that almost all appointments are with a consultant,
- attract experienced and dynamic consultants to work in Dorking,
- develop a close working arrangement between the Dorking GPs and the consultants.
We believe we have substantially delivered on all these aims, but we still work each day to meet these aims.
In 2008 and 2009, we widened our mission to aim to deliver similar improvements in other services for Dorking patients, to provide services in Dorking for patients from outside Dorking and, most importantly, to extend our provision of services to sites outside the Dorking area.
Our aims for our services at Holmhurst Medical Centre are to:
- increase the range of services provided at Holmhurst Medical Centre,
- make sure that local patients are seen at Holmhurst Medical Centre rather than at East Surrey or Epsom Hospitals,
- reduce waiting times for appointments,
- ensure that almost all appointments are with a consultant,
- attract experienced and dynamic consultants to work in Holmhurst Medical Centre,
- develop a close working arrangement between the local GPs and the consultants.
